The new Connecting Craigmillar project run by the Thistle Foundation are holding two free community film events in the next few weeks in Craigmillar Library.
On Monday 19 December 2016 from 12noon until 4pm there will be a screening of It’s A Wonderful Life, a film about a desperate man who is visited by an angel who shows him the positive impact his life has made on others.
Then on Tuesday 20 December 2016 from 4pm until 7pm, the family friendly Elf will be showing. Starring Will Ferrell as Buddy, who was raised from a baby as an elf in the North Pole, he goes to find his dad Walter who lives in New York but is on Santa’s naughty list. But as Walter spends time with Buddy he starts to question the bad choices he has made in his life.
