Bridgend Inspiring Growth – BIG for short – based at the old farmhouse at Bridgend is pleased to say we have secured our Lottery funding.
Work will start onsite in January, to create a new community base for eating, exercise…and of course good times. Amongst the many projects ahead, we are running regular drop-in sessions on a Sunday and a Wednesday from 11-3pm. Free lunch, teas and coffees for all volunteers.
It’s important that all understand that this amazing resource is owned by YOU the community. Success as we move forward with the redevelopment will depend upon our many wonderful volunteers. Our Drop-in Sessions offer skills sharing and an opportunity to meet new people and make new friends.
Coming up in the New Year, we will be building an outdoor kitchen – including a pizza oven – to ensure that while the building work goes on, there will still be opportunities to use our gardens and grounds. Come along – visit and be surprise at what can be done when communities come together to make things happen!
