A section of Niddrie Mains Road remains closed today as repairs are being carried out to a burst water main.
The burst pipe, located near Craigmillar Medical Centre, has resulted in a closure of both lanes on a section of Niddrie Mains Road from Craigmillar Castle Avenue to Craigmillar Castle Road.
Diversions to bus services are currently in place. Service 2 and Service 30 will be diverted from Duddingston Road West onto Milton Road and Milton Road West then Duddingston Park South before resuming their usual route.
Service 14 will terminate at Prestonfield Avenue. Service 21 will be diverted between the Royal Infirmary and Niddrie Mains Road through Greendykes Road and Little France Drive.
Lothian Buses have warned that these diverted services might be subject to delays due to increased traffic on the alternative routes. You can keep up to date on the diversions and view a route map on Lothian Buses website.
The road closure and diversions are expected to be in place until Friday while emergency repairs are carried out.
