The Community Alliance Trust (CAT) has managed to secure some help through cash for kids and the staff at the local Council office to distribute Christmas presents to local children.
Faye Gray who used to work in the east local office volunteered to replicate the success of last year on behalf of CAT to ensure that some local groups e.g. Kids in the Street (KITS), Magdalene Community Centre and Niddrie Community Church (the Mission) can distribute presents to children who might not otherwise get a visit from Santa.
While we are grateful that we have managed to get these gifts, we still need help to wrap them and we would like to appeal to anyone that wants to help by donating wrapping paper & sellotape.
If you have some wrapping paper that you’re not going to use please drop it in to the White House on 70 Niddrie Mains Road, EH16 4BG by Monday 21st December 2015.
