24hr waiting restriction proposed

The City of Edinburgh Council are currently proposing to introduce and change restrictions to some streets in East Edinburgh.

Under the new proposal, the City of Edinburgh Council is seeking to introduce a 24hr loading provision in Adelphi Grove which they say aims to keep the turning head clear and assist with vehicle movement.

The proposal also seeks to extend existing 24 hour parking restrictions in Brunstane Road South near Brunstane Station. This new restriction, if approved, will mean that double yellow lines leading from Milton Road East onto Brunstane Road South will be extended so that they cover down to Daiches Braes.

A parking suspension is also being sought for either side of the junction between The Jewel and Corbieshot which the Council says it aims to increase visibility between the drivers and pedestrians.

As well as the plans shown below, further information is available on the Council website www.edinburgh.gov.uk/trafficorders.

Comments and objections must be submitted no later that Friday 18 December 2015 quoting the reference TRO/14/55 . This can be submitted either by email to trafficorders@edinburgh.gov.uk or by post at Traffic Orders, Services For Communities, City Chambers, 249 High Street, Edinburgh, EH1 1YJ.
