A community ‘get together’ has been organised by Carr Gomm and their partners for people involved in or interested in community growing. This will take place on Thursday 12 November 2015 from 2pm to 4pm at Castleview Community Centre (also known as Sandy’s).
This ‘get together’ event aims to allow people who are interested or already active in a community garden to meet in a friendly setting and find out what support they could give each other. Advice will be given on matters including funding for growers groups and finding volunteers to help in the gardens. Information will also be given out on drop in events for local community gardens which will show individuals how they can get involved in their area.
