This is the community website for East Edinburgh.
It is a work in progress – working with a team of trainers who will support community members of all ages and abilities to be able to contribute and develop their own stories about their local area.
There is a series of workshops being held at The White House in October 2015 when you can find out more, learn new skills and get involved. They are all completely free to those taking part as The City of Edinburgh Council have funded the Chronicle Online to get it underway.
The report from the council’s Communities and Neighbourhoods Committee below details the thinking behind the programme in the contribution from the Portobello and Craigmillar Neighbourhood Partnership.
The workshops and training are now being delivered in October 2015.
